Happy New Year!
I know that it is not yet 2012, but I thought I'd take this opportunity to wish you all a very happy new year! It's time to turn over a new leaf! Whatever happened last year is in the past, and there is nothing you can do about it, so instead of dwelling on 2011, I suggest you start making resolutions for 2012! And don't make it something simple like eat less chocolate (or more chocolate as one of my friends suggested!) but make it something that makes you respect yourself even more! Be daring with your resolutions because you only get one shot at 2012 so make it a good one! Let your hair down, stop worrying and get out there and have fun! Happy New Year xoxo

Sales...
It kind of sums up my feelings towards sales. The excitement builds up to an extreme and then suddenly you arrive at the shopping centre. The site is over whelming, and never in a good way. Mad shoppers dash from shop to shop, racing to get that gorgeous shoe or the bag. It's a competition of the fittest and if your not brave enough, you wont win the reward! Weirdly, whenever I hit the sales, I never seem to shop in the sales. I might try on a dress, but it never quite looks right, and we all know that the better quality items are full priced and beaming! All I seem to do is shop (I'm very aware of that fact!) I think I may have an obsession; so you may have guessed what's coming. Today I went shopping! And it turned out to be succesful! From superdrug, all the essentials! And then I bought a lovely dress from Topshop by Oh my love. It's a simple black number with a bird print! Also, I bought a quirky necklace from acessorize, which I had to wear straight away! Love it! Not forgetting, Christmas, I hope that you all had an amazing Christmas, I know I did! I received a gorgeous asos bag which I have previously posted about, then I went on to buy a very nice dress from asos, in the sale! So sales aren't all bad I suppose! Happy shopping xoxo

Christmas happiness!
I know that I am doing a lot of posts that include the word,'Christmas,' or ,'Crimble,' but that's because I'm overwhelmed with exictement! Today was the last day of school, so it was half a day and non uniform! I wore my blue peter pan collar dress, ankle boots, grey cardi and my amazing new bracelett that I have quite literally fallen in love with! We had a carol service, which left me in a really Christmassy mood! Maybe I was grinning a little too much! When I got home, I found the school's magazine lieing in my doorway! For those of you who don't know, Lottie, Izzy and myself have been working so hard recently to get this issue produced! And I was so happy to see the finished product! I'm a little upset that my name is spelt wrong on the back cover, but all in all I'm very happy with our efforts! So, I'd like to thank anyone who was involved in making that issue ready on time, because it was a very tight schedule and would not be ready now without your efforts! So thanks for that! Now, I can just curl up at home, watch countless episodes of gilmore girls, glee and f.r.i.e.n.d.s. and just chill! I am so happy that Christmas is nearly hear! So I'm going to say it for the first time this year.... I hope you all have a very merry Christmas! xoxo

hakuna matata!
'Hakuna Matata! It means no worries!' No worries. How nice that would be. If I never worried, I believe I'd live the perfect life. But, if my friends know nothing else about me... it's that I worry. And I hate it! Once you've started worrying, you cannot think of anything else. So why do we do it to ourselves? There's always more important things to think about, yet we let these little things follow us around. Digging into the back of our minds. Life without worrying would be unbelievable! No worrying. Ever. It makes more sense to me. Especially as it's not the end of the world. Whatever you've done; whatever you've lost. It's not the end of the world! As long as you can still smile and the world is still spinning, then there's more to life! So remember there is ALWAYS more to life!

Relief!
The weight off your shoulders you feel when you've finished all your coursework is amazing! I managed to get all of my coursework out of the way this week and it feels great! When you have a billion essays to write, it feels like you'll never get it out of the way, so the fact that I have and in time for Christmas means I have more time to myself! I don't have to spend hours after school to finish pieces of never ending coursework! Now, I only have one week left at school and it's just focussing on exams! Thank goodness! So this weekend I have a party Saturday night for my fabulous sister's birthday and on Sunday we're all going out for a meal again for her birthday! So, I've already planned all my outfits and have them all ready! But, for once I'm not going to share them... you'll just have to wait and see! xoxo

Radio gaga!
The joy of the radio! To quote Queen, I truly believe I have gone,'Radio Gaga!' Every morning, every night. Without fail, our kitchen radio is playing out loudly! I adore the radio as it's full of suprising and when you get bored of your everyday ipod songs, then it's a great change. I mean, is it just me that gets bored of their ipod? The same songs over and over again, but with the radio you get to shake it up a bit! Always listening to big john at breakfast on hallam FM, I feel like I know the people talking to me. Of course I don't, but when you're alone and you need a smile, it's great to listen to the radio and sing as loud as you can to that sobby song that you never thought of buying. But now your considering it! Put on that radio and sing your heart out! xoxo

The first snow!
The first snow! I think it may be a sign! I know it's a sign! I practically squealed when I saw the snow. And yes some may argue that it was just sleat or just a thick rain! I mean what is thick rain? But, it'll do for me! It was snow, because it gave me that feeling that everything was okay! And I got to wrap up warm in my coat and scarf and hat and gloves! And I only have one complaint about this snow/thick rain (but I'll blame the thick rain for that one) it ruined my hair! I curled my hair to perfection, took a step out the door and it flicked! I had a very flicky fringe all day and if you had my friends, you know that that wouldn't go down well with them! So of course they told me... about twenty times! But hey what are friends for? Apart from secret telling, gossiping and a constant reliant? Friends are there to tell you that your knickers are tucked in your pants or that you have loo roll on your foot or just that your fringe is flicky! But when it snows, not even a flicky fringe can get me down, especially this close to Christmas! 2 weeks 6 days! xoxo

Childhood memories...
Yesterday, my friend Amie sent me a photo of myself on stage at the theatre group I used to go to, dressed as the ghost of Christmas past! Now normally I would be absolutely horrified by this, but it actually made me smile! Can you remember when you were little and had no cares what so ever? The worst thing that happened was when you fell over and couldn't stop crying. There was no drama. Life was easy. But now we're growing up and seem to be worrying about something 24/7. If only we could be young again. Clueless. Clueless about the world and everything in it. If this was possible we'd constantly be living with no worries. But, as I've said before, if we never changed, we'd never learn. But there's nothing wrong with reflecting back! P.s I might add the picture of me dressed as a ghost in a bit, but no promises! xoxo

‘Tis the season to be jolly!
Christmas time. ‘Tis the season to be jolly! Why is that? Is it because of the many alcoholic goods that surround us at Christmas? Brandy butter; brandy on the Christmas cake; mulled wine. So is this why were all overwhelmed by the sparkly Christmas lights and the wonderfully white snow? Or is it because we get to dress up and dance? We all know that with December, comes multiple parties. A time to gather with friends and just let your hair down. With music playing out loud and the weather so cold that you have to dance to keep warm, it is absolutely essential to have that fabulous party dress. So, I’ve been admiring the latest designer gear that I hope to see in all my magazines over the next month. From the gorgeous, long Ralph Lauren number, to my favourite Oscar de la Renta silver dress, there is something out there for all of us. And yes, I am very aware that we can’t all afford these designer bundles (it’s not as if I can) but what’s wrong with window shopping? I love all these dresses I found whilst browsing through the internet, with a reason for picking each. The Erdem number is so out there and popping, that I couldn’t help but be drawn to it. It’s so simple, but yet so beautiful! The Ralph Lauren would be for the elegant meal we all sit through, with our hair high in a bun and glamorous chandelier earrings dang

ling onto our collar bones. The deep colours just reflect through the mulled wine of life. Deep colours pouring onto the floor around the model, I just loved it. But, my favourite is the Oscar de la Re
nta. Its cute style would be perfect for dancing and I believe it brings an edge to the typical party frock. The colours are silver and white which represent the snow of this month. The Oscar de la Renta is simply stunning. So, whilst we can’t afford to splurge, I’m sure we can find lovely lookalikes online! Either that or we are going to have to save up those pennies! I wish!
