Hot Chocolate...

I always look forward to sitting down with a cup of hot chocolate... and am soon utterly disappointed. I must say, I prefer dipping chocolate into tea, but still I suppose it was okay. I had a bit of a photo malfunction in the above picture... I thought I'd positioned this really nicely and then realised that the chocolate was melting against the cup- smooth, I know.

P.S ... yes there are more dodgy garden photos to follow

Anyway, this is what I wore last Monday (okay, so that originally said yesterday... that's how long it's taken for me to get my act together!). I love wearing maxi dresses as it's something you wouldn't normally wear, but then it has a dodgy walking effect (ya know when the dress tucks between the legs and you end up tripping up?) - yes that's me walking down the street.

I wore the dress with a top over the top and a belt to hold it all in so that I had no top spillage! I love that the weather is warming up, but it isn't quite enough to remove the tights or the ankle boots!

Beautiful.

I believe that everybody is beautiful. Sometimes we can be very hard on ourselves in this world, and that can reflect into the life we live and the choices we choose. It can alter personalities and make you into someone that even you wouldn't recognise in a mirror.
Everybody deserves to know that they're beautiful.
I was listening to a song on YouTube earlier today, but there was an advert before it so I thought I'd share this advert as everyone deserves to believe.

And if you still need convincing?
I first came across the second video on Delightfully Tacky a while back now. So I thought I'd share it as it's true... you should love your body.

Bread.

I know, I know, she's been away for over a week and when she finally gets back she rambles about bread. Well, I hope it'll be more interesting than that. Firstly, we'll talk plain bread... love the smell of it, but the taste's a bit boring right? So.. let's make it into a lovely pizza! I toasted some bread (I'm not going to explain that) then I added tomato puree, just a normal cheese and also chorizo. Chorizo is the first of my food loves I'll mention in this post... I literally love chorizo. It's so nice! I know it's meant to be pepperoni on pizza, but honestly I don't like it- so I replaced it! Which gave this result (it looks disgusting, but tasted delicious!)
I know... I was telling the truth! Anyway, over the last week I'd realised I'd never tried a bagel and they're meant to be delicious, or so I've heard. Honestly, I was disappointed... it's just a cob with a hole in the middle isn't it? So, I thought that had to be jazzed up, and I know realised why bagels are so amazing. Firstly, just jam and butter toasted... plain, simple... nothing spectacular!

Then, I thought I'd try my bread/ pizza trick on a bagel, but under the grill as a posed to microwaved, and yes, as expected it was pretty good!
Plus, it doesn't look completely disgusting because it doesn't have chorizo on top!
But, I decided to take up the challenge and make something even better, so I had a long thing about my absolute favourite foods (chorizo aside) and I came up with mozzarella (my fav!) tomato and basil. It's the best food combination there is, and I already knew it was good in a sandwich so on top of a bagel under the grill it had to be great right? And it so was!

Yummy! Don't you just love food?
Any tips on what I can put on top of a bagel next?

Spring has sprung!

Finally, the sun has come out! Oh, how I miss you! I know, I know I'm a Autumn person through and through but the sun is so nice and warm... and I genuinely miss it! Today I'm completely tired as I was had my friends over last night for a girly night in. So this morning we took advantage and I walked them all home, feeling like Maria Von Trapp when she sings confidence due to one to many bags!

New shoes... the pain. But how so pretty! Once we got to Emma's we though Charlie perhaps deserved a walk, so off we went again in the sun. It's surprising how fun it is to walk a dog (and that's coming from a none-dog lover.)

Anyway... yes I'm a jean wearer again. But this way it's a girly kind of way. Jeans all the way!
