Before I left for my holiday, I remember thinking that I had
to get out of my home town. Yes, I’ve grown up there, and evidently learn to
love it, but when that town has memories on every corner- and you’re not in the
most positive of moods- you feel the urge to escape. So my holiday came at just
the right time. I went to a little place named Rosedale ,
where we stayed on a farm. We visit just about every year and it’s become a
great escape for me. Even the air is fresher. It’s also an opportunity to show
my ‘fall back’ style at it’s greatest, simply because dresses and ankle boots
are the norm in the country (which unfortunately takes ‘the quirk’ out of my
outfits) so I feel like I fit in like any other villager. Although, I quite obviously didn't!
I had an amazing holiday and the highlight, for me, was definietely getting to see two lambs being born! They were so -dares't I use this word?- cute and strangely enough real! It's great being out in the countryside because you're surrounded by all these animals you wouldn't normally be with....we had a pony practically in the front garden! I tried to take as many photos as I could whilst on holiday, but I obviously didn't have my friends on holiday with me to take any outfit shots, so they're mainly just me trying to be artistic and failing epicly!
As you can see, whilst I was on holiday it snowed (and I packed for sun) but I'm always happy to accept the snow! And the snow caused all the powerlines to break and so I went without electricity for three days! Which also made me decide that I need more candles in the house, not as a 'just in case' but because they look so pretty! I hope that you are all having an amazing Easter holiday... I certainly am, and I'm off later to catch up with my friends and watch 'mirror mirror'. Happy Good Friday! xoxo
