Granny's cabin

It's finished! I've moved back into my room from the cramped study (that I found goes really dark when you turn the light off! I'm talking pitch black!). It took a whole new day to move all my furniture back into the room and, I'm not going to lie, I did get a little stressed with the amount of junk that I apparently own! Seriously... who knew that I'd have a draw full of receipts? Yes, I kid you not, a WHOLE draw! The funny thing is, they weren't even important receipts. I'm talking chips, buttons, socks. Things that I wouldn't even bother to return if there was something wrong with them... you can't even return chips!

But, back onto my fabulous room! The wallpaper is up and the frames are on the wall! I even did a little bit of DIY with some birds that I've sewn together with some ribbon to hang up. The ribbon was bought today so that they'd stretch longer along the wall and I also sewed a few hoops onto my wall.

I'm actually really proud with the finished product and can't wait to be sat in there at night with candles, sex and the city and a glass of water! My Dad has started calling it my Granny cabin because apparently I looked like a Granny sat in a Grandma living room the other day. At least the 'granny fashion' is in!
